About Paul C. Davis, DDS
Dr. Davis is devoted to dentistry. He found his calling at an early age and sought the best education to achieve his goals as a general dentist. A 1972 graduate at Whittenberg University, Dr. Davis was graduated from Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1975. During two years in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Davis received extensive training in oral surgery, endodontics, and restorative dentistry. In 1979, he established a private practice in San Diego. He has received postgraduate training in esthetic dentistry (enhancing appearance in dental restoration), orthodontics and advanced dental implant reconstruction. In fact. Dr. Davis was among the first to explore the potential benefits of implant dentistry, and is a frequent lecturer on the subject. Dr. Davis is co-founder of both the San Diego Dental Implant Group and Rancho Santa Fe Dental Implant Study Group, and is a member of many professional organizations including the prestigious Academy of Osseointegration (implant dentistry), and Academy of General Dentistry. He is a director of Summit Dental Study Center, and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. His continued enthusiasm inspires Dr. Davis and his staff to seek new information and education in all aspects of dentistry on an ongoing basis. Married since 1972, Dr. Davis and his wife Linda have a son, and together are a devoted Christian family who enjoy snow skiing, tennis, baseball, and horseback riding (ask Dr. Davis about his “dude ranch” experiences!) Dr. Davis’ family shares and supports his commitment to helping others by contributing to their community through church, charitable, and civic participation each year. Consumer Research Council of America Dr. Davis has been named one of America’s best dentists by Washington, D.C.–based Consumers’ Research Council’s “Guide to America’s Top Dentists.
