About Philip J. Cimo, DDS
Dr. Philip Cimo is a native Houstonian who grew up in the Memorial area. After attending the Univ. of Texas Dental School in Houston, he completed a hospital dentistry residency program in Bethesda, Maryland at the National Naval Medical Center. The residency concentrated mainly on oral medicine, oral pathology and surgical aspects of dentistry. From 2001-2003, he served as the solo dental officer aboard USS TORTUGA. After moving back to Houston, he completed a preceptorship in Dental Implantology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. Dr. Cimo has accumulated hundreds hours of continuing education mainly focused on cosmetic and implant dentistry. He has achieved a Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry, a national dental professional association. Currently he also is a part time associate professor for a hospital dentistry residency program at the University Of Texas Dental Branch.
