About Raymond R. Knisley, DO
Dr. Knisley is a board-certified dermatologist with training in Mohs Micrographic surgery. He received his undergraduate pre-medical bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences with a concentration in Chemistry from the University of South Florida, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and graduated with Highest Honors. Following graduation, Dr. Knisley completed his internship at Kingman Regional Hospital in Kingman, AZ. After completing his internship, Dr. Knisley served four years in the United States Air Force as a General Medical Officer and completed a tour in Bagdad, Iraq during the second Iraqi war. After an honorable discharge from the Air Force, Dr. Knisley then completed his Dermatology residency training in medical and surgical dermatology at Midwestern University/Advanced Desert Dermatology in Sierra Vista, AZ. There he served as chief resident during his last year of training. Dr. Knisley is a Fellow of the American Society of Mohs Surgery, a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is an active member of multiple dermatologic societies. His clinical interests include medical and surgical dermatology.
