About Regina M. Dailey, DMD
Dr. Dailey has over 33 years' experience in the field of dentistry, with subspecialties in integrative dentistry, prosthodontics, and sleep medicine (the treatment of mild-to-moderate sleep apnea through dental techniques). Dr. Dailey feels fortunate to be practicing in such an exciting, dynamic field, """"...waking up each day feeling passionately about one's life work is truly a gift. In 1986, Dr. Dailey received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She began her career in dentistry thirteen years earlier as a Dental Assistant and subsequently a Dental Hygienist, receiving her Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1980. Dr. Dailey is licensed to practice dentistry in both the State of Michigan and the State of New Jersey, as well as holding both National and Northeast Regional Board Certifications. While a practicing associate with Drs. Cheryl and Ralph Kluk in Jackson, Michigan, Dr. Dailey was a faculty member and lecturer in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Detroit Dental School from 1986 - 1988. In 1989, Dr. Dailey opened her private practice in dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan. """"I decided to settle in Ann Arbor because I love the energy of this town and the spirit of the people I meet. Dr. Dailey is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Washtenaw District Dental Society (past President, and current member of the Peer Review Committee). Among her many honors, Dr. Dailey has been recognized by the New Jersey Society of Dentistry for her outstanding work with children, as well as receiving the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry. Her professional activities include the Task Force on Women in Dentistry, the Special Committee on the Young Professional, and various mentoring activities within the field of dentistry. Within the local community, Dr. Dailey has designed and presented educational programs targeting preschool-aged children, scouting clubs and disabled adults regarding dental health, periodontal disease prevention and nutrition. She produced three thirty-minute television segments """"Here's to Your Health"""" series with Dr. Jack Hill, covering preventive and esthetic dentistry.
