About Reza Radmand, DMD
Dr. Radmand graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston Massachusetts, in 1989. He subsequently completed a Hospital Dentistry Residency Program at UCLA, after which he continued to spend the next 20 years of his dental career, teaching as a part time faculty at UCLA School of Dentistry, while practicing full time in his private practice, in Los Angeles, California. In 2010, Dr. Radmand accepted a position at Yale New Haven Hospital, as Section Chief in Hospital Dentistry and the post graduate dental faculty, in their dental residency program. Dr. Radmand is also on the medical staff at Bridgeport Hospital, in Bridgeport Connecticut where he performs comprehensive dental services in the operating room, under general anesthesia on patients with dental phobias, special needs, as well as complex medical conditions. Dr. Radmand is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, which is the highest level of accomplishment in treatment of patients with snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, with the use of custom fabricated oral appliances. Dr. Radmand is a current Academic Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine and Associate Fellow of the American Head and Neck Society He is a strong advocate for multi-disciplinary approach in the prevention and treatment of systemic diseases, relating to the oral cavity. Dr. Radmand closely collaborates with the community as well as academic physicians, throughout the State of Connecticut and Massachusetts. He is a member of the following organizations: American Head and Neck Society, American Academy of Oral Medicine, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and New Haven Dental Association.
