About Rich Despres, DDS
While Dr. Rich Despres has transferred ownership of his dental practice to Dr. Matt Nelson, he said he plans to “continue doing dentistry for as many years as the good Lord blesses. And he’s quick to tell you that he’s not retiring. “I’m taking one more day off each week, and the biggest change in the office (besides the name and ownership) is that I no longer have to do the paperwork. In a letter sent to all his patients recently, Dr. Rich Despres said, I searched for many years to find another dentist that would be a perfect fit for our office, and he assures his patients, “Our staff and treatment philosophy are remaining the same. I always try to make my patients as comfortable as possible. Getting patients into the office every six months over and over and over is the key to long-term dental health. It’s pretty easy actually. So that’s what we do; we provide quality dental care that is conservative, practical and as painless as possible. We do dentistry right. An avid dancer at West Michigan’s Moveir studios, Rich has a wide range of interests beyond dentistry. I’ve been blessed to experience a huge number of cool things.” In addition to dancing, Rich enjoys skiing, scuba diving, sea-doos, and flying. With more free time, he is looking forward to having time to learn to do things on his computer, “like everybody else.” And his favorite activity of all is still spending time with his fabulous family and friends, especially his three kids Joseph, Barbara, and Emma.
