About Robert P. Ferraris, DMD
Dr. Ferraris is a lifelong New Jersey resident. He was born and raised in Bergen County and has resided in Monmouth County for over 30 years. He currently lives in Little Silver with his wife Christie and daughters Alexis and Stephanie. Their current four legged resident is a black lab Willow. Dr. Ferraris attained his B.S. in Pre Professional Studies from the University of Notre Dame in 1974 where he was a starting swimmer on the Varsity team as a freshman. He did his dental training at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry graduating in 1979. He was awarded a scholarship in the Armed Forces Health Professions Program and served for four years in the US Army Dental Corps. He was stationed near the DMZ in South Korea and at Fort Monmouth before opening his private practice in Eatontown in 1983. Dr. Ferraris is a graduate of The Dawson Academy of Advanced Dental Study, is a Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry and has taken over 3000 hours of advanced continuing education courses in order to maintain excellence in the continued advancement of quality dental care for his patients. He has taken advanced longer continuum programs in orthodontics and esthetic dentistry. He has taught residents at Monmouth Medical Center and is a member of the American Dental Association, The Monmouth Ocean County Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. In his free time Dr. Ferraris enjoys golf, automobiles, fitness, food and wine.
