About Robi Maamari, MD
Robi Maamari, MD received his bioengineering bachelor of science degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, graduating in the top 10% of his medical school class. During his medical studies, he was awarded the prestigious Research to Prevent Blindness Research Fellowship Grant, granted to only 5 individuals each year to support a yearlong research endeavor. Dr. Maamari completed his ophthalmology residency training at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He has published 9 peer-reviewed papers and has presented numerous times at the annual oculoplastic surgery society meeting. He is completing a rigorous two-year fellowship sponsored by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. During his free time, Dr. Maamari enjoys working out, playing basketball, and exploring new restaurants in town
