About Rosie Kickish, DMD
Dr. Rosalia ""Rosie"" Kolokithas is excited to be joining the Tallahassee community. She grew up in Travelers Rest, SC and studied at the College of Charleston (CofC) in Charleston, SC where she earned her Bachleor of Science in Biology. During her time at CofC, with a minor in Spanish, she had the opportunity to see the world and study abroad in Santiago, Chile. From there, she went on to the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where she earned her dental degree. After graduating from dental school, she chose to further expand her education in general dentistry by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program with the University of Florida in Seminole, FL. During this period, she learned advanced skills in all aspects of dentistry including surgery and the placement of dental implants. After residency, Dr. Rosie joined a dental practice in Goose Creek, SC, where she happily cared for patients of all ages. This year, she and her fiance Bob Kickish, a pediatrician at North Florida Pediatrics, have decided to make Tallahassee their forever home and are excited to become a part of the city's warm and welcoming community. Dr. Rosie is a member of the Florida Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
