About Sam N. Hanania, DMD
Dr. Hanania attended the University of Florida for both his Doctor of Dental Medicine and undergraduate degrees. He has practiced cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry in Jacksonville since 1991. In addition to his practice, Dr. Hanania is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and is a former president on the Northeast District Dental Association. Dr. Hanania received a Fellowship to the Academy of General Dentistry in 2002 and is the past President of the Florida Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a past Affiliate Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry where he instructed resident doctors in reconstructive dentistry. In 2002 and 2003 he was awarded Best Clinical Faculty. Dr. Hanania enjoys being active in the community. He is a Member of San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church, a Charter Member of Rotary of Bartram Trail, a Volunteer for Creeks Athletic Association, a leader with the Boy Scouts of North East Florida and a Member of Mandarin Museum and Historical Society. Dr. Hanania is married with four children and lives in the Fruit Cove / Julington Creek and Switzerland area. He volunteers at Healing Hands and Sulzbacher center.
