About Samantha P. Herman, MD
Dr. Samantha P. Herman graduated cum laude from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. She then earned her M.D. degree from Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School where she received multiple honors, including becoming a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed an internal medicine internship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Medical Center where she earned the honor of Medical Intern of the Year and completed her dermatology residency at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital, both in New York City. She practiced dermatology outside of Dallas, Texas prior to returning back to New Jersey, where she grew up. Dr. Herman is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a clinical instructor in dermatology at Columbia University where she devotes her time teaching residents. Dr. Herman has published several peer-reviewed journal articles as well as authored a chapter in a dermatology textbook. She enjoys her time outside of the office traveling with her husband and son.
