About Sassan Kafayi, DDS
Dr. Sassan Kafayi concentrates his practice on the precision of a good bite and the proper maintenance for healthy white teeth. When performing cosmetic dentistry work or treating a client for TMJ, Dr. Kafayi is an expert of precise dental work. He invests in “state of the art” equipment to ensure his clients receive the best. Dr. Kafayi completed his undergraduate studies in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1994 and is currently a part time faculty at the University of the Pacific. Dr. Kafayi has taken numerous continuing education courses in dentistry, including completion of the two-year program of the world renowned Foundation for Advance Continuing Education (F.A.C.E.). At F.A.C.E., the concentration is diagnosing and treating TMJ and occlusion (bite) issues. Dr. Kafayi is currently taking courses in Implant and writing an article for the CDA Journal. He is a member of societies and dental/specialty associations. Some of his memberships include: American Dental Association California Dental Association & San Francisco Dental Society As a dedicated father of two, Dr. Kafayi has many interests outside of dentistry. He enjoys skiing, water skiing, swimming and soccer.
