Dr. Nelson attended Purdue University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She furthered her education at Baylor/Texas A & M College of Dentistry, again finishing at the top of her class. Dr. Nelson then moved to California to complete a prestigious General Practice Residency at the La Jolla Veteran's Hospital. Dr. Nelson started her own practice for the dental care of adults and children here in Solana Beach in 1999.
