About Stephanie Friduss, MD
I was raised in Los Angeles, California. I completed my undergraduate education at Stanford University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I then returned to Los Angeles to attend UCLA Medical School followed by an Internal Medicine Internship, also at UCLA. Afterwards, I left California to train in Dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Several cold winters later, I happily returned to the Bay Area and began my career with Kaiser Permanente in 1992. I was drawn to practicing medicine here because of the focus on preventative care, the interactions with colleagues across specialties, and because it’s an environment where I can focus solely on practicing medicine.
