About Stephen J. Riedy, DDS
I completed my General Practice Residency (GPR) at Sinai Hospital of Detroit, then went on to earn my M.S. in Prosthodontics at the University of Michigan. I've been a prosthodontist since 1984. I was attracted to dentistry because: I like intricate tasks which require great manual dexterity. I love being a prosthodontist because: I'm able to help people who are missing lots of teeth attain complete dentition again. It is very satisfying. The thing I like least about being a prosthodontist is: (I can't think of a thing that I don't like!) I'm really good at: all aspects of prosthetic and restorative dentistry. If I wasn't a prosthodontist, I'd probably be a: college professor. Something most people don't know about me is: I am president of the Michigan component of the American College of Prosthodontics.
