About Sweeta Walia, DDS
Dr. Walia comes from a multicultural and diverse background. Although of East Indian origin, Dr. Walia was born and raised in the French city of Sherbrooke in Canada. She later moved to Atlanta , Georgia with her family where she completed high school and her Bachelors in Science Degree at the prestigious Emory University. She received her Dental degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Following her graduation she also completed an intense General Practice Residency training program at Staten Island University Hospital. She is a fellow of American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the North Dallas Dental Society. Dr. Walia specializes in Cosmetic, Implant and Restorative Dentistry which include veneers, Invisalign, custom porcelain crowns, sedation dentistry, fillings, periodontal treatments, extractions (including wisdom teeth), bone grafting, root canals as will as placing and restoring implants. Dr. Walia’s expertise allows her to cater to your entire family. Dr. Walia is extremely passionate about dentistry. She is committed to continuing education for herself as well as for her team. She often travels to various parts of the US to keep up on the latest advancements in dentistry. Dr. Walia also works closely with some of the nation’s most highly regarded specialists and lab technicians to ensure only the highest quality of care for her patients. Dr. Walia's interest in other cultures have taken her to Japan where she learned and studied the Japanese culture and language for three years. Dr. Walia currently resides in Plano with her two daughters. In her free time she enjoys cooking, playing the harmonium, watching movies, listening to music or just hanging out with her family. Dr. Walia can communicate in English, Spanish, French, Japanese, and Hindi.
