About Sylvia J. Granger, Aesthetician Specialist
Sylvia has an extensive background in Aesthetics. She has worked for 18 years as a manager and plastic surgery assistant on all elective and emergency Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Hand surgery cases in a Ambulatory Free Standing Surgical Center. This included all the various types of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. Sylvia obtained her certificate by the American Association of Medical Assistants in California in 1985. She then went on to manage a busy family practice office for the next 8 years. In August 2003, Sylvia obtained her California State Board License of Aesthetics and worked as head aesthetician in a state of the art laser center performing customized facials, acne treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and other skin related treatments. She assisted in all the laser procedures from hair removal to laser skin resurfacing and set up and assisted in injections of Botox Cosmetic and fillers such as Restylane, Perlane and Juvederm. Sylvia has become certified in the Jessner Chemical peel and TCA/Vitamin A peel and continually attends 2 major esthetics meetings every year. She also attends multiple skin care treatment classes just to stay up on all the new trends and treatments in skin care.
