About Tania M. Arthur, DDS
Dr. Tania Mendoza Arthur is a bilingual dentist specialist in Dental Public Health. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000 from the National University of Colombia, one of the most prestigious universities in South America. As a post-doctoral research associate at The Center For Oral And Systemic Diseases at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) from 2005-2009, she explored the impact of periodontal disease on cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, and pregnancy. Dr. Arthur earned a Master in Public Health in 2013 at UNC-CH, the number one ranked public school of public health in the USA, and was honored with a Public Health Traineeship Award. She then earned her second advanced degree as a Dental Public Health Specialist in 2015 at NYU Langone Dental Medicine. During her residency training, her research project was accepted for publication in the February 2016 issue of The American Academy of Pediatrics. Continuing at NYU Medical Center, she completed another post-doctoral residency degree emphasizing extensive training in implants, surgery, and IV sedation from 2015-2017.
