About Thomas J. Definnis, DMD
Dr. DeFinnis began his work with Sedation Dentistry on the Main Line in 1998, providing dentistry to phobic patients, under General Anesthesia. He later underwent extensive training to provide “Oral Conscious Sedation”, and has been an active member of the “D.O.C.S.” program since 2002. This has allowed him to alleviate many patients’ dental anxieties, and manage their dental needs in a relaxed, pain free environment. The field of Cosmetic Dentistry is one that Dr. DeFinnis finds very gratifying, and he has created many beautiful smiles with the use of “DaVinci Veneers” and the “Zoom Whitening” process. Tooth-colored restorations are the norm in Dr. DeFinnis’s office, since amalgam, or metal fillings, are medically harmful as well as aesthetically unpleasing. Dr. DeFinnis comes from a family of dentists. His father and brother are all Temple University graduates, and practice in different areas of Pennsylvania. Coming from a dental background has provided Dr. DeFinnis with an abundance of shared experiences and knowledge concerning the art of dentistry. Dr. DeFinnis is a graduate of Berwick Area High School. After graduation, he attended Susquehanna University, where he studied Pre-med. He was then granted early acceptance to Temple University School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1996. Dr. DeFinnis is a member of several dental organizations, including the American Dental Society, the Pennsylvania Dental Society, and D.O.C.S., LLC.
