About Thomas R. Ferrell, DDS
Dr. Ferrell grew up in the greater Charlotte area and attended Olympic High School. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also completed his dental training and received his DDS (Doctorate of Dental Surgery) degree at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. Dr. Ferrell and his family then moved back to this area so that he might begin his dental career in serving the upper Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties. After working several years with other dentists, Dr. Ferrell was excited to open his own practice in April of 2008 in the city of Davidson (serving the Kannapolis, Concord and north Charlotte areas). Dr. Ferrell and his two children, Ava and Mason currently live in the Huntersville area. He and his family are active members of University City United Methodist Church in Charlotte. Dr. Ferrell enjoys participating in sports including softball and flag football. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on the North Carolina Tar Heels.Dr. Ferrell is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Cabarrus County Dental Association. Dr. Ferrell is board certified in the state of North Carolina to practice general dentistry. He attends multiple dental education courses, including those provided by the Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry and the Greater Charlotte Study Club, to learn the most up to date techniques so he can provide the highest quality care to his patients.
