About Thomas D. Nabors, DDS
Dr. Nabors was born in Dallas in 1955 to Dr. and Mrs. G. C. Nabors. His father was an obstetrician and his mother was a homemaker. He grew up in Dallas and attended Jesuit College Preparatory, graduating in 1973. He went on to attend Texas Tech University, receiving a BSc in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 1977. At Texas Tech he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He studied dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating in 1980 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He was in the Delta Sigma Delta fraternity at Baylor. After receiving his DDS, Dr. Nabors moved to Irving to practice dentistry with Dr. Bernard Rust. He has been practicing dentistry from the same location ever since. In 2011, Dr. Nabors was honored with a fellowship in the American Academy of General Dentistry. This award is presented to the top 10% of general dentists in America and reflects Dr. Nabors’ skill, experience and lifelong dedication to general dentistry.
