About Thomas E. Newman, DDS
Dr. Newman grew up in the Bensenville and Elmhurst area where he graduated from IC High School. Dr. Newman attended Purdue University for his undergraduate studies and continued on to Loyola University Chicago School of Dentistry where he completed his DDS degree in 1982. Dr. Newman practiced dentistry with his father until his retirement. In 2002, shortly after his father’s retirement, Dr. Newman moved the practice to the current Spring Road location. Dr. Newman likes to focus his practice primarily on prevention and restorative dentistry for the entire family. He works to maintain close connections with many area specialists in order to help solve routine as well as complex dental needs of patients. Dr. Newman believes strongly in listening and developing relationships with his patients so, together, they can decide the best approach for dental care. In addition to maintaining close connections and developing relationships, Dr. Newman makes it a priority to continue acquiring knowledge in regards to technique and technology. He places much emphasis on continued education in order to better serve his patients. Dr. Newman is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Society. Dr. Newman has also been affiliated with Marklund since 1989. Marklund is a non-profit organization that serves infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. When not working, Dr. Newman enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Paula, and his five daughters. Dr. Newman enjoys golfing, gardening and is an avid Chicago sports fan.
