About Timothy Muscaro, DDS
Patients notice a distinctive atmosphere when they walk through the doors of Muscaro & Martini Dentistry. It’s no coincidence—for years, the dental office has developed an environment that is uncommonly personal and relaxing, yet highly professional with a proven reputation for superior general and cosmetic dentistry. This resulted from significant experience and planning that started even before Dr. Muscaro began his Tampa, FL practice in 1988. Dr. Muscaro attended the West Virginia School of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors in 1984, followed by three years of service in the United States Air Force Dental Corps at MacDill Air Force Base. While there, he was honored as “Dental Officer of the Year” in 1987. He remained in Tampa, FL and established his practice the following year. To be an outstanding dentist, Dr. Muscaro believes in staying up to date with dental technology and the most current, scientifically proven techniques and treatment modalities. He yearly spends countless hours in continuing education courses concerning many phases of dentistry as well as the use of CAD/CAM and other digital technologies. Porcelain veneers and cosmetic dentistry options, treatment of TMJ disorders, orthodontics utilizing Invisalign, teeth whitening, and the treatment of sleep breathing disorders by offering CPAP alternatives (such as ProSomnus) are the phases of dentistry that Dr. Muscaro enjoys most. Throughout his 35-year career, Dr. Muscaro has been a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Hillsborough County Dental Association, and the Hillsborough County Dental Research Clinic for which he serves as President. He has also been an active participant in the exceptional dental training of the Dawson Academy, Spear Education, and CEREC Doctors.
