About Trishna Patel, DDS
Dr. Patel is a native of Maryland and moved to New Jersey shortly after dental school. She attended the University of Maryland at College Park for her undergraduate degree in Microbiology. She then went on to complete her Masters degree at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. After dental school, she completed her general practice residency at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and University Hospital where she gained additional training in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics. Dr. Patel has been in the dental field since she was 16 years old, working as a dental assistant prior to going to dental school. She prides herself on being able to communicate with patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair. She strives to listen to each patient’s needs and concerns to better tailor their individual care. Dr. Patel is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association, American Dental Association, and is a certified Invisalign® provider. Dr. Patel is an avid Baltimore Ravens fan, likes trying out new restaurants, eating dessert, going to the gym, and spending time with her friends, family, and husband, Tejas.
