About Troy J. Andreasen, MD
Hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Troy J. Andreasen’s active lifestyle allowed him to have an early encounter with plastic surgery. During his time as a successful Golden Glove boxer, he became acquainted with a plastic surgeon. Through his connection, Dr. Andreasen’s interest in this revolutionary field of medicine sparked his pursuit of plastic surgery studies for several years to come. Following two years of religious missionary service, Dr. Andreasen went on to complete medical school at the University of Utah. While there, he developed groundbreaking microsurgical skills under the direction of the renowned hand surgeon, Graham Lister. His work in microsurgical research helped redefine the effects of trauma on microcirculation. Dr. Andreasen was awarded the highest achievement award from his alma mater and graduated at the top of his medical school class. Dr. Andreasen has always had compassion for others, becoming active in missionary service at the young age of 19. While at Loma Linda, he captained the Loma Linda Good Samaritan Plastic Surgery efforts in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Twice yearly, this team extended reconstructive surgery to aid impoverished children who would otherwise have no access to these procedures. Dr. Andreasen’s training in cleft lip and palate repair and his experience in burn surgery, are invaluable components of his missionary work. Dr. Andreasen’s pursuit of excellence in Plastic Surgery continues now in his private practice. With personalized service and care, he treats every patient individually and provides comprehensive surgical attention from the initial consultation all the way through the recovery period. Emphasizing safety, Dr. Andreasen performs his cosmetic and reconstructive procedures at several hospitals and surgery centers throughout Riverside and the Inland Empire. When he’s not helping patients of the Inland Empire community reach their aesthetic dreams, Dr. Andreasen enjoys a bit of a dream of his own, boating and wakeboarding with his family. A passion for travel and the outdoors, Dr. Andreasen likes to keep his body in shape for his next adventure through either weight training or challenging exercises.
