About Tykeisha Muhusin, DDS
Tykeisha Muhusin DDS, African American / BLACK Dentist | General and cosmetic dentist. Dr. Tykeisha Muhusin grew up as the eldest of four children on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. She attended Whitney Young Magnet High School and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Black World Studies at Loyola University Chicago. Shortly after graduating, she and her husband relocated to San Jose, California where she pursued a career in dentistry. Dr. Muhusin attended the renowned University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry and practiced in the Greater Bay Area before returning to San Jose to establish her practice, Muhusin Family Dental, in August 2013. Dr. Muhusin is passionate about listening to her patients, discovering the goals for their smile, and providing each individual with honest, comprehensive, and gentle dental care. When Dr. Muhusin is not seeing patients, she enjoys baking cakes and spending quality time with her husband and two daughters in San Francisco.
