About Vaishali B. Doolabh, MD
Dr. Doolabh is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. A graduate of the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Doolabh completed her general surgery and plastic surgery residencies from the prestigious Barnes Hospital and the Washington University School of Medicine. She returned to Baltimore for an additional, elective Fellowship year for sub-specialized training. Her clinical and surgical talents are matched by an exemplary research background that authenticates her commitment to furthering the care of plastic surgery patients. She is the recipient of research grants and presentation awards from the National Institutes of Health, the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, to name a few. She has authored book chapters, served as a guest reviewer and published numerous articles in peer-reviewed plastic surgery journals. She has contributed to plastic surgery related articles in The Dow Jones Newswires, The Wall Street Journal, and has been featured regularly on the local television news for public safety discussions on plastic surgery.
