About Vito L. Modugno, DMD
Dr. Vito L. Modugno is a Northern New Jersey native. Born and raised in Historic Paterson, New Jersey. Attended nationally recognized Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey, where he graduated with honors. Dr. Modugno received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Fairfield University in Connecticut and earned his Doctorate Degree in Dental Medicine at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he graduated in the top percentile of his class. Completed a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Georgetown University Hospital and Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and a one-year Post-Graduate Facial Reconstruction Fellowship at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Â Dr. Modugno is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Modugno holds numerous licenses and certifications, as well as, awards for academic and surgical excellence. Dr. Modugno has published articles pertaining to his specialty and has taught multiple, accredited seminars on oral surgery, pathology, non-surgical cosmetic procedures and implant techniques.
